Awareness
As our beginning it was the first major task. That started at 2nd Oct, 2019. This school was located in a very low based area in Lahore. Initially we helped the school’s administration in painting and decorating the walls for children at 26-27th October, 2019. After that we planned a whole day and went to school at 30th Oct, 2019. Ourteam provided books and stationery to children along with spending time with them playing games.
Awareness Webinar
Amidst current climate conditions, global warming and ozone depletion are the terms that are widely being pushed to the center of attention. Such environmental alarms are too crucial to be ignored or snoozed. Immediate measures of precaution have become a must for the conservation of a healthy and safe life for every living being. The Team of Mehv-E-Khawab has taken an initiative to spread the word and motivating individuals of our community to do the best they can at their part. An interactive webinar was conducted by the team of Mehv-E-Khawab on August 11, 2021 via zoom meeting, hosted by Ms. Malaika Afzal with Ms. Manahil Noor being the guest speaker. All the significant causes and harmful effects of environmental hazards such as exceeding pollution, global warming and Ozone depletion were discussed. This webinar was conducted to shed light on the possible actions and steps that can be taken individually or unitedly for the cause. Significance of plantation and waste management was highlighted.
Student Fee Case
Our NGO Mehv-E-Khawab, took a pride in our commitmentto provide student fee assistance to deserving individuals, enabling them to access education and realize their potential. Through the generous support of our donors and partners, we have been able to make a tangible difference in the lives of students, creating opportunities for a brighter future. Student Selection Process: We meticulously select students based on various criteria, including academic performance, financial need, and potential for success. This ensures that the assistance reaches those who can benefit the most from it. Transparent Financial Assistance: We maintain transparency in our financial assistance process, ensuring that every penny donated goes directly towards covering students’ educational expenses. The teamwork of all the members was appreciable. They were actively invested in the activity. Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and empower the next generation through educational support. Our mission to unlock the transformative power of education by supporting our student fee assistance initiative. Together, we can break down barriers and empower individuals to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
